How to disable chdisk at start-up

CHKDSK can be very annoying sometimes, epecially if you are trying to defragment.
So if you’ve got problems with it,here’s what you have to do:
(Windows Xp and 2000)

1. Go to Start ,Run and type in regedit.
2. Navigate to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE , then go to the following subkey:
\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager
3. Change the BootExecute entry to: autocheck autochk *
4. Exit your registry.
5. Restart.

That should solve it.
